Looking for a music editor please comment!?

Hello over the past year i have been i'll. i am now getting better. wlast i was ill i listened to more music than you can imagine i listened to radio1 way way way over 10 hours a day atleast and since my sister has a record deal with sony, they sent me new stuff as well. my sister is called roxy rawson check her out. i now want to be a radio DJ for radio1 so i would like tips on how to even get into the radio DJing "buissness" if you like and please dont say it will take a long time ect i know all that stuff...secondly since ive listened to so much i feel something is coming out of that and that i need to make something out of what ive been listening to like my brain has taken all this music in and that now my brain is compressing it and something is coming out of that i need to know if there are any good music editor software such as apple macs garage band. i want to have a go at remixing something. in this music software i want the feature to import music from a disk or hardrive ect and also a recording feature to record sounds. thanks!
