What is so bad about globalism?

Globalism simply means that the world is becoming more connected by communication, products, technology, etc. Then there are many paranoid Christians that claim globalism is actually slowly going to become a New World Order, where the population is microchipped, Christians are sent to FEMA concentration camps, and the Antichrist becomes dictator. What theory is more logical? I pick the first.
