Why do skeptics, particualrly atheists, always undermine God's capacity to give us free-will?

Minor correction: Atheists do not undermine god's capacity to give you free will. To do that, we would have to believe that god exists. We do not. Your basic premise is faulty, so your argument carries no weight.
