Does this sound like ADHD?

My 21-year old brother is very smart, but is always exuburent (ex. being a show off around me through bodily gestures,) always running up and down the stairs loudly, and constantly running around the house as if he didn't have any control. Could this be a sign of the hyperactive type of ADHD?
